I’m AnnaMaria from Charlottesville, Virginia, where I share knowledge of Italian culture and language and promote travel to lesser-known region of Italy, offering a unique combination of exceptional cuisine and remarkable locations.

I was born in a village in southern Italy near the seaside. My family relocated to the northern town of Savona in Liguria, where I attended travel school. Later, I moved to Milano for work and met my American spouse. We then moved to Bergen County, New Jersey, where I worked as a corporate travel agent.
